- In order to manage time off/leave requests, you must be granted access to do so.
Step-by-step
See below for a step-by-step guide on creating a new time off/leave request, updating an existing time
off/leave request and deleting a time off/leave request.
Creating a new time off/leave request
- Navigate to the 'Time Off/Leave' area using the system menu.
- Click/press the 'New' button in the top left.
At this point you may be presented with multiple options.
(The available options will depend upon your access to time off/leave request records.)
If your making a personal time off/leave request then.
- Click/press the relevant option for the request type you wish to create.
If your making a time off/leave request on behalf of another employee then.
- Click/press the relevant option for the request type you wish to create.
- Search for the employee that you wish to make the request for then click/press select against the
relevant record in the list of results.
Once you've made your selection you can then.
- Fill out the request details.
- Click/press 'Save & Close'.
Updating an existing time off/leave request
- Navigate to the 'Time Off/Leave' area using the system menu.
- Use the search to find the request that you wish to update .
- Click/press the down arrow next the 'View' button and select 'Edit'.
- You can use the one in the right hand panel or the one in the list.
- Make the required changes.
- Click/press the 'Save & Close' button.
Deleting a time off/leave request
- Navigate to the 'Time Off/Leave' area using the system menu.
- Use the search to find the request that you wish to delete .
- Click/press the down arrow next the 'View' button and select 'Delete'.
- You can use the one in right hand panel or the one in the list.
- When prompted, click/press the 'Delete' button on the confirmation dialog.
