Permissions Breakdown

A breakdown of the permissions in OneBoxBM.

The permission system in OneBoxBM allows you to control access to data stored in each area at a granular level.

Standard Permission Set

See below for a breakdown of all of the standard permissions.

Admin

The following permissions are used when managing data from within the Admin area.

Manage
Departments Allows users to manage the list of employee departments
Job Roles Allows users to manage the list of employee job roles
Responsibilities Allows users to manage the list of employee responsibilities
Rates Of Pay Allows users to manage the list of employee rates of pay
Employee Groups Allows users to manage the list of employee groups
Employee Document Types Allows users to manage employee document types
Shared Employee Document Types Allows users to manage shared employee document types
Client Groups Allows users to manage the list of client groups
Client Document Types Allows users to manage client document types
Shared Client Document Types Allows users to manage shared client document types
Supplier Groups Allows users to manage the list of supplier groups

The following permissions are used when employees are accessing their own employment record.

Update Personal Details Allows users to update their own personal details
Update Address Allows users to update their own address details
Update Personal Contact Allows users to update their own personal contact information
Update Work Contact Allows users to update their own work contact information
Update Emergency Contacts Allows users to manage their own list of emergency contacts
Update Employment Details Allows users to update their own job title, employment status, assigned departments, job roles and additional responsibilities
Update Rates Of Pay Allows users to update their own rates of pay
Update Hours Allows users to update their own contracted/preferred hours and working days
Manage Objectives Allows users to manage their own objectives
Comments
View Comments Allows users to view any comments made against their own employment record
Manage Comments Allows users post new comments and reply to existing comments made against their own employment record
Documents

Employee Other

The following permissions are used when users are accessing the employment record of another employee.
